That cpu/gpu is way too weak.  you will need more powerful hardware to run GT4 smoothly.

Ask it how to do so, then.

The answer here will be : "play it on your ps2 console until you can afford a suitable computer"
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble running GT4 on my machine. It's the first time I've used PCSX2 on it, so I don't know the ideal settings.
The problem: Night tracks.
It's simply unplayable. The game slows down, both on these tracks and in certain scenarios like the main straight of Twin Ring (not Speedway) and the first corner of Tokyo R246.
I've tried all the settings from the forum, Reddit, and YouTube, but none of them made a difference.

My hardware:
  • Ryzen 2600 3.8Ghz
  • 24 GB DDR4 Dual-Channel
  • RX 6600 8GB
  • PCSX2 installed on an M.2 SSD
I don't think this is a problem, since I played GT4 on PCSX2 in the past using an AMD FX-6300 clocked to 4.0Ghz and RX 570 4GB  and it was "Ok" and I didn't have this problem.
I'm looking for some help to fix this issue. Any suggestions?
