Gran Turismo 4 Framerate issue

I configured PCSX2 for GT4 following tutorial I found on this forum (https://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-New-Gran...hader-2017). It works fine, but occasionally during the race game gets all choppy and jittery for a couple of seconds even tho FPS is on 60 and game speed at 100%. Is there something I can change to make it more smooth?

I play it on i5 6500, GTX 1060 6GB, 16 GB DDR4.

I may be wrong, but iirc the game isn't always smooth on PS2 either.
care to check this on your real console ?

I don't have the good ol' PS2 anymore unfortunately.
