Gran Turismo 4 NTSC lagging

Hi there...

Im using PCSX2 0.9.6

the game works fine at the menu i got 60fps but when it comes to loading some cars my fps drops to 14 even in racing

any ideas? please help!

1 - better use latest pcsx2 version
2 - setting cycle rate speedhack to max isn't a good idea.
3 - what are your pc specs ? Beacause GT4 is VERY demanding, and a CPU under 3.6Ghz won't lead you anywhere

i dunno about pc specs but this is what i saw on my computer

Processor: Pentium® Dual Core CPU E5300 @ 2.60GHz 2.60 GHz
RAM : 1GB.

and im using Windows 7

as long as you try to run it with that PC you have, i'tll lag, whatever you do.

Better keep playing it on your PS2 instead, sry
