I can see 3 possibilities.
1. Your disc is broken.
2. You drive is broken.
3. Your drive does not support the disc format of your game.

yes your drive works but that doesnt mean it works as it should... better replace it, even the best out there are very cheap

drivers have 99% nothing to do with this (still you can update your chipset drivers cause those may have something to do only with that), maybe you need a firmware update for the drive

well if you did what i said and nothing happened then you must find a way to replace the drive

GT4 is far too demanding of a game to run from the dvd. Burn an iso and use that. If your dvd drive is in fact damaged and you can't burn an iso you should look around for a cheap external usb dvd drive.
