Graphics pixelated when running games

I've downloaded the latest version of PCSX2, but when I try playing a game it looks all pixelated, or like there's a filter applied. I've tried changing the plugin settings, as well as the plugin itself, but it has no effect. The games run fine apart from this problem.

Looks like shaders. Press F7 till it goes away.

I have no idea how I turned them on in the first place, but that worked.
