Is there any way to make it skip past the logo or just work as it should on the 0.9.7 version ?

you need the skip mpeg gakmefix or a pnatch that will do it

Then use a patch in the PCSX2 0.9.6 version and use it in 0.9.7.

Edit: Actually the SLUS (US) and SLPM (J) versions of the game have the patch already so make sure you have "enable patches" ticked in the system menu.

This is the pnach but if you use some of the newest betas that already have the "Skip MPEG hack" in Game Fixes,you have use that fix too but don't forget that you enable it

This for the USA(SLUS_218.47)version of the game

create a "cheats" folder inside pcsx2 and put the pnatch there! after that tick "enable" cheats and you will be fine!
