Gust games savestate freezes?

Recently got started on all the great Gust games (Mana Khemia, Ar Tonelico, etc) out there but oddly enough (r4980 btw) it seems every savestate AFTER my first freezes all of the games, and when I restart to load......there isn't even my initial savestate available. Have tried all speedhack/ee options and the issue isn't present in any other games. I also wondered if it was a Lilypad issue but reverting to an older version of the plugin didn't seem to solve it either.

Correct solution good sir! No idea how I missed that during my testing but savestates appear to work again so thanks for the tip!
