HELP PLEASE!

I have an ISO of Dark Cloud (legendary game) and I desperately want to play it. I get the PS2 menu up OK, but when I select the disk icon, the screen goes black for a couple of seconds and then goes back to the menu again.

Id love to get playing very soon so PLEASE PLEASE post a solution if you know one.

• The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  
• Any non default settings you are using.
  
• What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

I am using Windows 7 (64-Bit), 4GB RAM, PCSX2 0.9.8.
I have set the CDVD setting to Linuz ISO CDVD 0.9.0

Sorry about my lack of clarity. Im pretty new to emulators.
I am trying to play Dark Cloud, I have an ISO image obtained from the disk, and I am trying to use PCSX to run it.

did you try fast boot instead of full boot ?
what are your CPU & GPU ?

You are Jesus. I tried fast boot and it worked first time. Can't thank you enough. Sorry for my noobness.
