Hajime no Ippo 2: Victorious Road error

Tournament mode will no longer load and instead gives me a black screen, as well as this error
"Assertion failed in function ReadFIFO_VIF1
(D:\a\pcsx2\pcsx2\pcsx2\FiFo.cpp:32)

FQF = 0 on VIF FIFO READ!

Please Abort to exit, Retry to break to debugger, or Ignore to
attempt to continue."

Sorry if this is not the right place to put this thread, but it seemed fine. I would attach my crash log but it says URLs are not allowed.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Please make sure to enclose your emulog in code tags like so (remove the empty space on the closing code tag!):
