THANK YOU AT ALL THE TEAM !

Xenosaga is now totally fluid, I can pass the first cinematic and run on the first playable scene without any slowdowns ! Sooooo I havent tested more than this but for me its allready a huge step !

My settings :
i5 2500k @ 4,3ghz.
Res on x2 : x3 cause slowdowns, actually I cant go x3 everywhere, the demanding scenes arent running good at x3 but no problems elsewhere.
MTVU actived, EE 1 and VU 0.
I can enable all AA effects, sound quality max, vsync, perfect !

Continue your job please, if only there is a way to go further and to play 100% perfect on x3 it would be so awesome, the only problem is the text that still remains pixellated.

Well what's your GPU? I can go up to 4x on my rig with that game.

Its a gtx460 but I dont think its a gpu problem, x4 runs too BUT in demanding scenes that cause voice desync or slow gameplay I must stay x2. Ill try on a r9 290 but I bet it will be the same.

It is a GPU problem. That GPU is about 60% of the speed of mine and at 4x my GPU usage is 100%.

Xenosaga is on the GPU intensive game list:

So you really have no slowdowns during the first cinematique when its saying "morning kos-mos how do you feel ?", and during the VR training ?

Yeah, I do, but that is CPU side slowdown.

Watch your EE and GS% inthe title bar - if either are above 90% then it's CPU slowdown. If they are both low and you have slowdown it's GPU side. Xenosaga is also on the CPU intensive list:

Okay, they're not even at 50%.. and I can run perfect on x3 on theses scenes on DX9 mode, x4 strill lag.
I didnt knew that pcsx2 need a powerfull gpu, ill confirm this when Ill test with another card.

Mostly it doesn't, but some games are special. Xenosaga makes a ton of little calls to the GS and when translated to directx this puts a tremendous amount of overhead on the GPU and causes slowdown.

i been able to run xenosaga at 4x with Fxaa and little to no slow down other then in mech fights and some random cut scenes with just mtvu checked should not need to mess with EE/VU at all
