Hi, I'm trying to run the iso of Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life Special Edition and it works, but it the fps is much slower than it says at the top (it says about 60fps).
My Specs are:
AMD Phenon II X4 975 Processor ~3.65GHz
AMD Radeon HD 6900
8gb RAM
Windows 7
I'm using 0.9.8 version of PCSX2, and I'm using default settings except for I switched the speed hack thing to 4 because it got more frames per second.
Any Suggestions for increasing my FPS?

speedhacks tend to fake fps counter, so don't rely on it as long as you use them.
try latest svn :
http://pcsx2.net/svn.php and enable mtvu hack.
then report back

Ok well I got the latest version you linked, but how do I enable mtvu hack?

it's a checkbox in the speedhacks section

Playing around with the game for a few minutes with the mtvu hack and stuff, the game runs perfectly when I'm inside a building, but when I go outside the fps pretty much halves :/

what do the EE% & GS% say when you get those slowdowns ?

that game is known to be the slow game...play on your PS2 console it's slow.

When I'm inside and its running fine the EE% is usually 25-35, and GS% is around 15%
When I'm outside and it slows down the EE% is around 40-50, and GG% is between 15-25%
