Yeah your cpu isn't very fast

this is the list of processors known to support for my mobo, which ones are the ones that can run it 100%?

Just thought of something, what makes it fast enough? i mean is it the fact that the oen I have doesn't have L3 cache? If i got a processor with at least 6mb L3 cache will it then work? Or is it the Ghz onit because its 3.0 ghz but that makes nos ense to me I mean this is the recommendation:

Minimum (most games will be unplayable slow)
Windows/Linux OS
CPU: Any that supports SSE2 (Pentium 4 and up, Athlon64 and up)
GPU: Any that supports Pixel Shader model 2.0, except Nvidia FX series (broken SM2.0, too slow anyway)
512MB RAM (note that Windows Vista needs at least 2GB to run reliably)
Recommended
Windows Vista / Windows 7 (32bit or 64bit) with the latest DirectX
CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 3.2 GHz or better OR i3/i5/i7 @ 2,8 GHz or better OR AMD Phenom II @ 3,2 GHz or better
GPU: 8800gt or better (for Direct3D10 support)
RAM: 1GB on Linux/Windows XP, 2GB or more on Vista / Windows 7

I am pretty sure I pass the minimum... and really close to the recommended... please guide me to the right path I don't wanna burn money into something that will not work...

Still waiting on a reply for this before I decide to either try overclock or wait until november where I will build another pc... -.-

it's a balance between clockrate and architecture.
Your clockrate isn't bad, your cpu's architecture is.

To compensate one, you can improve the other.

Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS

Thanks you two, that actually helps to knwo what I am dealing with ^.^ wont need to overclock since nothing is hauling 100% of my cpu, it's just ps2 emu... means I wont have to worry about it until I get my new pc or decide to swap my mobo and my processor... whichever I do so now here is the thing, I don't like intel cpu because of the durability, now I already pick out the board I may go for so the CPU I am looking at is teh FX Vishera series, question is, will this architecture work with the emulator?

it will.
it won't perform as good as intel in most intensive games, but it should be enough for many games.

What's wrong with intel's durability?
