Having issues running NFL 2K5.

They hover between 78-90 when it is slowing down. It fluctuates all over the place even when its running smoothly.

what if you put internal res to native ?
CPU : AMD Ryzen 7 3800X
Mobo : Asus PRIME B450-PLUS
GPU : NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070
RAM : 16 Go

First update your PCSX2 to the latest stable version.

Then turn Anisotropic Filtering off, turn off HW Hacks, turn off shade boosts, FXAA, and the external shader.

Do all these things one at a time, so you can tell what's the biggest performance reducing option.

I did all of those, it played and looked worse than before.

Look worse, yes, possibly, but it wouldn't make it play worse. You'd at least gain a few FPS if you had them all disabled.
