Hi so currently I'm using pcsx2 0.98 and I am having major problems with the emulator. So first of I'll start with my configuration it is a laptop : Acer 5742G with Intel i5-480m, nvidia gt 540 (with 270.61 drivers), 8gb ddr3 ram. The problems is that I can't seem to make the gsdx plugin work properly I've tried several versions but the result is the same 640x480 resolution on all games and sometimes it even says that it couldn't load properly. The emulator has worked normally ever since I changed the drivers, but I can't really turn back now since I have other computer games to play Ninja, I would like to ask how can I make a log so that you can help me. I will not be able to give console information for now since I have to go and dig out my old collection of FF.

Why do I think it's another victim of the accursed C:\Program Files (x86)?
First and foremost uninstall it from that directory and install it on a user created one: D:\PCSX2 should be good enough... be used to never install games on those "specially protected" folders, not even the native PC games and spare yourself many headaches in near future.

about the 640x480... it's changed on "Window settings" an option on GS config or accessed now directly under the emulator settings as GS window. There you can change the window resolution and aspect ratio (what implies its actual dimension). Notice it's not the same as the internal resolution in the actual GSDX config window.
PS: to be in the secure side, delete the inis folder under the Documents (on the PCSX2 folder there) and let the emulator recreate them anew, this may avoid possibles conflicts with whatever was there before.

Ahh, that marked information is the "real" resolution on PS2, before any scaling.
PS: sadly enough, the pixelation is something that can be solved using some kind of post processing, like AA or shading, not yet fully implemented on PCSX2 and mostly hardware demanding anyway, almost above what most maistream machines could cope with.
