Having some issues with Metal Gear Solid 2

8.00 GB RAM
Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 Ti

Pretty much everything is default but I’m on OpenGL, auto interlacing, x2 native and align sprite checked.

Most of the problems are happening in cut scenes, at first they play fine but then suddenly they’ll go into ultra slow mo for a scene before returning to normal. Also there is sometimes a weird line down the left side of the screen. 

Anything I can do to correct this and should I be able to run at higher resolutions?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

I just did the fight inside Arsenal Gear alongside Snake and I was getting bad frame drops during that as well

I’m also having an issue with Silent Hill 2 which sounds like a common issue. Whenever an FMV starts there is a white “grid” obscuring it. I did a google search which suggested I need to enable manual game fixes and “switch to GSdx software rendering when FMV plays”. I did this but now when they load there is a split second where the screen goes all glitchy and then during the scenes it’s very shaky and subtitles are all “smeared”
