Help!!

So I just discovered pcsx2 and was really excited to use it but when I installed it and launched call of duty 2 big red one the menu loaded fine but when the mission started the fps dropped and the sound was horrible but I don't understand because I have a Intel i3 4160 3.6ghz and a nvidia GeForce 970 SSC 4gb and 8gb of ram can somebody please help me I just want to play my favorite games again

In order to help you further with your problem, please make sure the following are all provided.
  • The version of PCSX2 you are using.
  • Any non default settings you are using.
  • What games you are trying to play and if you are playing them from ISO or DVD.

I am using pcpx2 1.4.0 
Default preset settings 2 safe fastest 
Call of duty 2 big red one and Medal of Honor European assault I'm using iso

what do the ee% & gs% say when it's slow ?

Thats quite high.
did you try opengl renderer ?

Yeah do u think if i go to the older versions of pcsx2 it will be better ?

I don't think so.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.
