Right,i have been through the tutorial i was kindly directed to the other day and to be honest it hasn't made much difference.

im getting terrible slowdown in sound and im also getting VERY laggy and slow video.

my PC specs are as follows.

Operating System: Windows Vista Home Edition
System Model: Aspire M1610
Processor: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E4600 @ 2.40GHz
Memory: 2.00GB
Direct X Version: Direct X 10
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce 8400

-------------------------------------------------------

The version of Pcsx2 i am running (or trying to) is 0.9.6.
I am playing Final Fantasy X and its running like a pile of cack Sad

Any help on what my set-up/config should be would be fantastic.

Thanks in advanceSmile

Follow the configuration guide as close as possible:

With that graphics card you will probably need to keep the "native" option in GSdx enabled.
Show us your settings so we can help better.

Default should be fine. But to get more speed, you should go for some speed hacks. Just read through this, it will help you.
Rejoice, they say. Color is back.
