Switch to the OpenGL Renderer. If that doesn't work, use DirectX 11.

did you try using 1.4.0 stable version ?
it may be a regression

it was after I encountered the problem on 1.4.0 stable build, I switched to nightly builds

i do, but i only own the PAL version. can't help you then
