Help! I'm a real big noob! [ Road Trip PSX2 ]
#1
Hi.
I'm reallllly new to all this .iso .bin and stuff but this is bascially what I have.

I've got psx2, with a game called Roadtrip.bin

I need help. Whenever I press the disc on the game selection, where you have the choice of choosing a disc and two memory cards, it just goes back to the screen.

I'm an epic noob, I've read the rules, but I'm pretty sure this is probably answered somewhere in the [Read Before Post] But I don't really understand that either so...

Anyone?

After you choose the game, you should go to the first tab in the PCSX2 window and select "Boot from CDVD (Full)/(Fast)". The difference is that the Full one makes the PCSX2 boot from the opening screen of a PS2,and the Fast one makes you load the game directly.

Found out the problem, I had to make the bios thing to USA, not Europe.

Now I have another problem.

SUPER Lag. The starting screens are fine, but whenever I start racing, the music gets super choppy and everything is super slow.

Also, I don't know how to save my control settings, as well as the emulator settings. It keeps getting reset. Help?

Those specs are far to weak for pcsx2. They won't run anything well.

Keep playing on your PS2.
this CPU is way too weak to play anything @ playable speeds.

As a side note : better turn your PS2 DVDs in .Iso format next time.

Anyway, base framerate 200% is too much, that's used for the Turbo option i think, you should set it to 100%,most games become glitchy if skipped like that.
And that processor is too weak too,not to mention it has an integrated GPU.
EDIT:Gee,Nobbs timing is too fast to be beaten.

You can't make iso's from CD's. Other games like Midnight Club 1 and Ridge Racer v are going to give you a bin file when ripped with imgburn
