So I got the classic Transformers game from 2004 playing on my computer, well, partially. It starts up the loading screen, and main menu, go to make new game, use a slot to save it in, and then after the cutscene is finished, it just shows a black screen. Anyone have any clue behind the reasons why it's doing that? Thanks!

start off by pressing F9 which will make pcsx2 go into software mode, you may need to tweek the amount of rendering threads (depending on how many your cpu has)
out of curiosity what are your pc specs?
Not sure what graphics card you have, it's memory bandwidth,
it's temperature, fan speed, what pixel shader it has
try TechPowerUp's gpu-z
Not sure what your cpu is try cpu-z

where it says gs (if you already didn't know) click configure and where it says software mode settings press the arrow up on the extra rendering threads to add the cores (again dependent on whether your cpu has them)
did pressing f9 change anything?

another thing you could try is one of the latest versions from here ?
it might just solve your problems hint click on this green text
the latest svn builds don't need to be installed, just put the bios that you ripped from your ps2 in the bios folder and set up your joypad, and your ready to go
