I need help with my EMU. I am playing Persona 4 and its running at 60 ~
80 fps. After a few Mins of gameplay it DROPS down to 5 fps and it just
stays there until I close the EMU and wait like 5 Mins, but it just keeps
happening so what should I do?

You did not tell us what CPU you use.
But judging from the rest of the system I'd say you have a way too slow CPU for that game.

Pcsx2 Playground 1.0.0395 - TLB << Try using the vm version for a little speedup.

About your grapich card bit weak, try with native res. Or set to 800X600 in gsdx plugin.

disable your windows aero a GUI of vista.
it might help a little to improve the emulation performance.

maybe your cpu is overheating, mine used to until i cleaned it out -.-

what would happen is it i would play for a little on full speed, then the fps would suddenly turn to crud and stay like that. So the comp limiting the cpu usage to prevent more overheating and eventual burn out.

other than than-when you say its 60-80 fps for a few minutes, does that mean during the time that the game is starting up and going to the menu to start new/load game? or actually IN game.

...obviously it's the GPU.You think a new laptop with a Geforce 8 and Vista would have a Pentium 3?? 0_o
This sounds like power saving options.Disable any kind of speed step / set power option to maximum performance and never run it with batteries.

Start with this unckecked:

Sound: ZeroSPU2 PG r563-Dev 0.4.6
Time Scaling [Check]
Real Time [Check]

You don't need Clamp Hack for SMTTongue4.

And as a rule of a thumb use some CPU and GPU thermal monitoring software. This behavior could be sign of overheat, and overheat is VERY dangerous.

What do you mean by Cleaning it out

When I am in town or in the Dungeon its at 60~80fps
when I am fighting its like 40~60fps
but suddenly the whole game would go to 5~10fps
