Help for Burnout 3

CPU: Intel Core I5-6300
GPU: Nvidia 960M
RAM: 8gigs
OS: Windows

Hey,

i only installed psxs2 to play burnout 3 and i cant seem to find optimal settings to play that doesnt have slow down or that doesnt run below 90%speed, i use 1.4.0 but i have a dev version (pcsx2-v1.5.0-dev-3399-g8d3ff9444) if needed, i do not neccesarily care about how good the game looks, i just want to play with no slowdown and ill be fine, i use preset 1 and sometimes preset 2 for speedhacks and all other options in that window.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

are you aware your CPU and GPU are on the edge of minimum hardware of pcsx2 ?
care to show your gsdx settings ?
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge
GPU : NVIDIA Geforce GTX 750 Ti
RAM : 6 Go

yes im aware haha. i guess im out of luck if my hardware is the soul case, im also very new to pcxs2 so im not sure which renderer would work best for me

try using native resolution instead of 3x
CPU : I7 2600K Oc'ed @ 4.2Ghz
Mobo : Intel P67 southbridge

try d3d11 renderer instead of OGL
about the black sky : use software mode before beginning a race, then switch to hardware mode when the race begins (F9 key)

thanks that fixed the black sky issue, but i am still getting a max avg of 60% speed, is there any way to increase that to at least 75% without setting pcxs2 priority to high? also how different is direct3d9 from direct3d11, because if i make my internal res anything but native this happens
