An A10 will in now way run PCSX2. Maybe lighter games but that's about it.

If you're looking at a laptop an i7 is a minimum.

Also, there are some games that do stress the GPU. My old 6870 couldn't play Dragon Quest VIII above 2x IR.

Strange...Isn't a Core M better than those Pentiums and Celerons??

Oh and a laptop will only go so much...

take a look at this list.

It sorts all the processor according to STP by the order high to low. you can compare the processors to get a better Idea on how it will fare on pcsx2.
We're supposed to be working as a team, if we aren't helping and suggesting things to each other, we aren't working as a team.

Very Nice Link!! (To be bookmarked for future reference: Smile )
Let's say I found 2 CPU's with the same STP...A Dual-Core and a Quad-Core....Generally for computing tasks, The Quad will perform faster right ??

In applications that can take advantage of multiple threads, then yes, there will be a speed boost.

if you're only considering the case of emulation, the extra cores wouldn't provide increase in performance worth the price of jump from dual core to higher.

Really ??, I thought STP mattered....Not, that it was the ONLY thing that mattered: O.o
