Help my controller wont work

I am using a steelseries stratus xl and when i try to enter a key binding it just keeps showing up as y or x rotation such as when i try to enter square it does this and its very irradiating does anyone know how to fix this

irradiating?  You're being exposed to radiation? Did you go to your Devices control panel and see how Windows is detecting the buttons. If windows is detecting the same thing (which is probably the case), then not much you can do. Maybe use xpadder to map keyboard buttons to your game controller
