Help on getting Suikoden 3 to run perfectly.

Secondly problems:

Problem 1: While the anime video introduction plays the sound is slightly choppy, it doesn't run smooth like it should.

Problem 2: When the video plays I get iso block/crash. Here is what my log says.

Could you please give me recommendations on what settings I should be on, any plug ins I should use, to get this game to run as best it can?

theres a newer video plugin available on the pcsx2 downloads page called zzOglPG 0.1.0

theres also a newer controller plugin called onepad which is pretty much necessary for proper controller gaming, but it wont help with compatibility.

Sadly, the pcsx2mac port has a pretty low compatibility list as it is all done by 1 person. Theres a pretty high chance this game will not work. For the best chance i would make sure you update the video plugin and removing all speedhacks and anything like that (as you have a BEAST of a machine) but ultimately i doubt the game will get past it on the mac version. running pcsx2 for windows via bootcamp (or with your specs possibly through windows using parallels or vmware) would offer the best results.

There is also a chance your ISO is bad. How did you compile it? Theres a good tutorial on making a byte by byte dump of your disc here -> http://forums.pcsx2.net/Thread-Dump-PS2-...see-post-6

Okay thanks, updated my plugins to 0.1.0.

Sadly nothing seems to of changed. Thanks for letting me know pcsx2mac might not be able to play this game properly, I shall have a look into windows via bootcamp.
