Do you have problems with the default settings? Did you follow the configuration guide?

Well, I couldn't get the game to run at all but it might be a bad copy. I was trying to run a disc copy of Xenosaga ep 1. but it was pretty laggy. I looked into the config guide a bit, but I couldn't find any information on my GPU from this link and was just wondering if anyone knew anything off the top of their head.

BTW, yes, I'm trying to run it on J BIOS

Your GPU is same with me. it's ATI Radeon HD 4350 (mine ASUS EAH4350, the 4350 is powered by ati radeon 4350 hd). Well, maybe i can help with these:
graphics configuration:
check native and windowed ( u can leave the windowed aside,if u want), uncheck all of the other except for native and windowed.

enable speedhacks option, and then configure the way your cores do their job (u got 4 cores, lol, configure them properly first)

NVIDIA GT540M
500GB SATA
4GB DDR3
Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit
Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
Windows 8 Pro 64-bit

What do you mean by configuring my cores? Is there information for that in the guide?

Nope, but u can configure yourself at task manager, if i remembered correctly. But u can leave that aside. Just configure your plugins properly and use some speedhacks

This game doesn't require some special setting. It works just fine at default without any speed hacks( worked for me, I have a somewhat better video card 9600gt and similar cpu), and I am sure your cpu is more than enough to run the game. Your video card could be an issue, but it shouldn't stop you from running the game. Do check out the guide, and if you still can't figure it out, post all of your settings so that we can have a better understanding of the problem instead of guessing.

Well, but his Graphics card is good enough to emulate Monster Hunter 2. Download the latest driver of your graphics card (since mine work)

Ok, Edited this post because I fixed my previous problem but now have a new one. I'm using gsdx890 SSE2 set on 1280x960 75hz res, Direct3d9 (hardware), Pixel Shader 2.0, 4:3 aspect ratio and 1152x864 internal res. Checked options are NLOOP Hack, Texture filtering and Alpha Correction.

I have missing/broken textures on some objects including my avatar.
Here's a couple screenshots:

Any idea how to fix this?

Try using the GSdx graphics plugin instead.
