Help with Katamari, mpeg patch, patches?

Okay, here we go.

1. I downloaded the GameIndex.dbf one more time, so it is un-changed. Even if i activate the patches under system -> activate patches, the console tells me: no patches found for this game, even though the game's CRC is C5FD7217. And guess what, there is an entry with this crc in the GameIndex.dbf.

2. I tried it with 0.9.6, with the .pnach file in the patches folder, and the console tells me: http://img535.imageshack.us/my.php?image...023850.png - I don't know about that XML error or whatever, but the patch seems to be activated. Allthough, he doesn't work. And yes, I activated the patches under "misc"

You seem to be trying to load a NTSC patch on your PAL version, maybe that's why it doesn't work.

Get this one and put it under the "Cheats" folder in 0.9.7 (if it doesn't exist then create it) then "system > enable cheats", or in 0.9.6 put it in the patches folder and "misc > enable patches" and try again

The code you were trying was for the NTSC version of the game and you have a PAL one. Different version usually needs a different code, as bositman mentioned before it just wouldn't work like that.
