Help with Lilypad controls and mouse

Well, I'm newbie and i get pcsx2 and I tryed to configure my mouse as analogic but didn't work. I remove "diseable" from Mouse API options and I chose "Windows Messaging (Recommended)" and in the pad I click 4 dirctions of analogic but is still doesn't work :\, I play Dragon Quest VIII, can anyone help me with this?

In Lilypad, uncheck "Start without mouse focus"

You'll lose control of the mouse outside of game window, in that case, use Alt+Tab for switching different windows to focus on whether PCSX2 main window or any else
