Help with Shadow of the Colossus
#1
So I've downloaded PCSX2 0.9.8 (latest version) and I've also downloaded an .iso file of Shadow of the Colossus from TPB.

I've created a folder on my desktop named PS2 and within it two other folders, BIOS, and GAMES.

In the BIOS folder I've put in a PS2 bios and within the GAMES folder I've put in a copy of Shadow of the Colossus .iso

I open the emulator, click CDVD - IsoSelector and then I select my game.

The game then opens but is unbearably slow.
The Sony Computer Entertainment logo with sound upon starting up lags, both image and sound skip.

My fps is at 10.78 and EE: 10% GS: 83%

10fps sucks!

I consider my machine to be a pretty decent one... capable of running this game I would hope. My system specs are as follows:

CPU Speed
2.9 GHz Performance Rated at: 5.655 GHz

Processor AMD Athlon™ II X2 245 Processor, 2913 Mhz, 2 Core(s), 2 Logical Processor(s)

RAM
1.9 GB
(I have another 1.9GB right here on my computer table)

OS
Microsoft Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (build 7600), 32-bit

Video Card
GeForce 7025 / nForce 630a
Features:
Video RAM 825.6 MB
Hardware T&L Yes
Pixel Shader version 3.0
Vertex Shader version 3.0

Free Disk Space
You Have: 848.1 GB

Is there something I am doing wrong?
Is my computer setup just not able to handle the emulation?

Any help would be very much appreciated, thanks!
