Help with god of war 1. Please help me . I am new

I am new so i think i am not breaking any rules. So my problem is god of war is very slow. I tried every combination but nothing seems to work. I have 0.9.7 r3686. I can get good fps but i think it is due to EE it is 40-50. Some times it go good but then GS go slow 40-50. Please help my spec:
intel i3 2100 @ 3.10ghz
intel hd 2000
4gb ram
please help me
