Help with metal arms game
#1
I always wanted to play it again as i lost the game for the ps2 but never could find a emulator that would work.
Then i found "Pcsx2 R5460" and it worked, but it was so slow'mo that i couldn't really enjoy the game.
And now i wanted to try it again and try to speed it up or smtn but it doesn't work it always says "IPU1 Normal error!"
I tried 3 diferent versions and its all the same.
I just know that there is a bug that the emulator can't skip the cutscenes nor show them.
Here's a log of the latest psx2 emulator that i downloaded from the official site and i tried with ( launched it as administrator ) :

First, starting off by having a legit disc of this game would be a big help, as it would also be following forum rules in the discussions.

Right but technically unless you still own the CD, you should not be playing the game at all. Not sure if this is a grey area or not. I suppose that is what the mods are for Smile

If you didn't make an iso of YOUR disk plus to even use that iso of YOUR disk you must still have the disk in your posession.

So you are all saying that if i didn't bought the game i can't play it even if we still live in 2013 ?

It doesn't matter if its the year 3000, its still illegal to take somebodies intellectual property without paying for it and as per the rules we do not allow it here.

well the emulator then is useless
and how you think all people who use the emulators do it ?
they obviously download it instead of paying

and then if I lost the game long ago im not gonna pay for it to play again thats for sure

1. It's not useless considering a lot of us enjoy playing games in HD and we appreciate all of the work the developers have put into this emulator.
2. A lot of people get the BIOS from their own console and make ISO's from their own games.
3. Fine if you want to pay for a game to be able to legally use it that's your problem not ours.
