Hi all.
I am new to emulation, so hope there is someone that can help me setup PCSX2. I am running v1.7.4249 PC Windows 10 Pro AMD Ryzen 9 7950X AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX 32 GB Ram The game I want to try is Xenosaga 1.

I have set it up, and it runs good. Xenosaga Episode I: Der Wille zur Macht, runs like it does as on a PS2. I have looked up a page with settings for the game, but I don't understand how it works. wiki.pcsx2.net/index.php/Xenosaga_Episode_I:_Der_Wille_zur_Macht Sorry, but this is all new to me.

I am looking for 4K and 60 Hz settings. I am running a 4K monitor.
increase internal resolution
you can look for a 60 fps patch, but don't be too keen on it. It doesn't always work, and xenosaga can be a bit hard to emulate @high resolutions

Ok. I got it to run in 4K with OpenGL, but can't get the 60Hz patch to run.

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Okay, I know what I did wrong. I forgot to rename the file to the games CRC number.
But after trying the patch, it runs the FMV's at 60Hz. Game craches. Ingame is basically double speed and doesn't feel any different, so I don't recommend it. |
