Hi there! I could use a lil pcsx2 help

Hi im Brian.(Krono99) Anyway I was reading thru your sticky's to compare my specs to see if Pcsx2 1.0.0 would run decently and it seems it might but im having a low fps issue. My specs are:


Windows: Windows 7 Ultimate Edition (Build 7600)
Memory (RAM): 2559 MB
CPU Info: Intel® Core™2 Duo CPU E7200 @ 2.53GHz
CPU Speed: 2528.5 MHz
Display Adapters: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT

Now maybe its because Windows 7 is using half my memory or something Idk... I do know that when I play God Of War my fps goes from 59 to about 20 ingame. Is my pc to weak or is there anything I can do aside from upgrading my hardware or buying a new computer?? lol

buying a new computer -> definitely.
upgrade some parts -> your gpu would be the first thing I would upgrade to at least play some games in native resolution.

Else, you'll need to inker a bit with speedhacks (especially ee cycle rate & vu cycle stealing)
Else, you'll have to keep playing with your PS2 until you can afford a better pc

your pc is definitely too weak for God of War im afraid. You might want to think about upgrading/new pc at some point
