Horrible performance on Linux with Ryzen 3600 - performs flawlessly on Windows
#1
Hi,

I'm trying to run the first Kingdom Hearts and other games, and failing. I'm getting about 25fps, even on native resolution. The same game files work flawlessly on in Windows and I even got better performance on an Expresscard eGPU setup on a 2012 ThinkPad.

Could this be a Ryzen 3000 issue?
I've enabled MTVU and messed around with some other speedhacks, but no luck.

Anyone have any similar experiences/suggestions on how to get things running well?

Setup: Ryzen 3600, GTX 1060 3GB, 16GB RAM at 3200.

- Please post your emulog contents
- What Distro are you using?
- What graphics driver are you using?
- Stable/dev-build of PCSX2?
Tired of always changing your PCSX2 Configuration for different games?

Graphics: proprietary nvidia drivers
PCSX2 build 1.0.0-0

Emulog is attached. Still on 42% speed max!
