How can I get Metel Gear Solid 3 Subsistence working on Fedora 26?

When I try to boot CDVD it comes up with this output:
Code:

How can I fix this? This is my first time trying this emulator so it's possible I might have missed something while I was setting this up, if so what would this error indicate that I have done wrong? Here is my system:

If anybody needs any more information I'll try to provide it. EDIT: Got it working! Turns out I had to select the software openGL renderer Smile (I presume this is due to me not having a GPU)

I'd have thought the Hardware Renderer would have worked? It use to work ok when I was using Kaby Lake HD 630 for a bit... it just grumbled about not being able to emulate the blending unit correctly or something (can't actually remember exactly now, think it was a limitation of the drivers) but other than that seemed to do ok even above native res (in some games, not all). The only difference between the 530 and the 630 is the speed I think...

Edit: Maybe try the non-free intel drivers?

Fwiw, the best is to use the git version. I added various code to better support the Mesa driver. It should work even on Sandy Bridge with a recent Mesa.
