How can I play Tekken 5 at constant 60fps?

As of now, I'm able to maintain 60fps but only in the menu, since when fighting it drops to around 25-30fps, even in native resolution.
Any settings I should change/have?

Specs:

Intel Core I7-8750H 
Nvidia GTX 1050 4GB

16GB of RAM

I'm assuming you're using a laptop?

Laptop cpu's get throttled quickly to reduce heat, try changing the power plan to high performance, just watch your temps.

Also try the recommended speed hacks and maybe MTVU, some games don't like MTVU so just check.

Keep it at native and when you get the fps stable, increase it a bit until you find the balance.
