I tryied several changes on the config, even the default one, nothing changes the fact that menus and/or map have low FPS, and kill my card.

your video card uses the 100% of its power so its normal the temps to go waaaay up. more maybe from when you will play a pc game.

Could you tell me the exact model of your VGA?
I saw you have hd4850? but I don't the manufacturer so I can't watch it on the internet. You see I have an Zotac GeForce GTS250 with 1GB DDR3 VRAM. It has 890Mhz GPU and 1290Mhz VRAM frequency and If I disable the frame limiting, without any speed hacks with 1920*1080 internal resultion my FPS goes up to 70-90FPS. With frame limiting it's constant 100% speed and never drops down by FFXII. And your card should be on the same, or a little better level than my own. Thatswhy I thought you forgot something in the settings.

It is a 512mb 4850 Sapphire card, clock are stock.

And... I cant believe that you can run the game like that, I just cant believe that nVidia cards are so much better for this emu than Ati cards..

Time to upgrade to an GTX 470 maybe.

Huh? no it's not, 4850 should be more than enough, please post your full settings in screenshots and some screenshots when your game slows down including the game window and the console so we can help better. Also check if the card and CPU are running at full clocks while running PCSX2.

And.. yes, I didnt post the screens of Ati Overdrive, but clearly the card is overburdened, going up to 85% of load and rising the temperature to ~90
