How do I install the NFSCO mod for Need for Speed: Carbon on PCSX2 using a MacBook?

I've been trying to figure out how to get the NFSCO (Need for Speed: Carbon Overhaul) mod running on the PCSX2 emulator on my MacBook. Most of the guides I've found are for Windows. Has anyone had success doing this on macOS? Any tips or steps you can share would be appreciated.

Better ask the mod makers. pcsx2 team won't support this
