How do i configure PCSX2 to run more smoothly?

I have trouble with this emulator, at least on my computer both the imagery and sound are very very choppy.
It shakes alot too.

Note: WHen its minimized it runs perfectly. SO im guessing its the graphics thats the issue?

Anyway i need to know how to configure it so that itll run smoothly. I dont care if the graphics arent perfect id rather have it running very smoothly.

interlacing : None
Aspect Ratio : 4:3
D3D INTERNAL RES: 1024 1024 (I think)
SW rend. Threads: 1

NLoop hack
Textire filtering
Alpha correction (FBA)


Current Sound Configuration:
Interpolation: 1-Linear
Spu2-x

Module: 1-X audio 2
Latency: 160 ms

Yeah i just came back to list config. Imma add that to first.

No game it runs poorly when nothings in there. Itll be worse when i try my games.

If you aren't running a game, then what do you mean by:

both the imagery and sound are very very choppy.

Are you only running the BIOS?

And you still haven't provided your computer specs (ie. CPU and graphics card).
