How do you edit the 'Sorting Title' field?
#1
I'd like my games to be sorted as they would if they were on my shelf, but it won't let me change the 'Sorting Title' field and I seem to have only 1 game that even has the field, so I either need to be able to edit it or get rid of it.

Okay, I seem to have found what I needed, why it couldn't just be editable in the software I don't know.

Sorting title is only for Japanese games, it does nothing for normal roman character names.

Not if the game starts with 'The' apparently.

That doesn't really answer the question, though. I own three Japanese games, one of which being an imported copy of Monster Hunter G, but when sorted by its Kanji name, it's nowhere near my PAL copy of Monster Hunter - I'd like to edit the sorting title field for that reason.

Edit: Also, it would be lovely to have the ability to have/change that field for American/European games as well. For games like Onimusha - Dawn of Dreams, for example, it would be great to have "Onimusha 4" as its sorting title.

You can rename your games if you want to, right click them in your game list and select properties (presuming you're using nightly)

you can sort/name them however you wish then.
