Can I expect comparable performance on Linux to be comparable to on Windows 7/8/10?

Just debating whether I should install PCSX2 on my Linux HTPC/couch gaming rig or if I should install it on my Windows desktop and stream it to the HTPC through Steam.VidMate Mobdro
