How the heck do I configure this for Devil Summoner 2?
#1
Ok, so I just gopt my new PC, it's MUCH better than my older PC, but at least my older PC allowed me to run Devil Summoner 2 at less than snail speed with only 2 GB Ram and Intel fabric processor.

I'm currently using an AMD Processor with 4.0GHz, and tough some people here told me before my GPU wasn't as strong, I should be able to run stuff on Software mod at native resolution with natural speed. It seems illogical I'm using a better PC than the last one and the game isn't working.

I'm using Software mode (thru my NVidia Geforce 210) which is what I used before, and the screen just comes black and there's no sound.

My settings are:
Adapter: Nvidia GeForce 210
Renderer: Null (Software)
Interlacing: Auto

Anything else gives me the "GS Plugin" Error message...

I don't get why it's not working, at least I could try to play that snail speed stuff on my older PC...

I can't find that option, I'm using the 1.1.0.5766 version I got from the website, running on Win 8.

I have DX9 on the options but it marks the GS Plugin error.
It's odd since I updated my Direct X this mrning and as I said, my older, crappy PC could run this with a LOOOT of slowdown.

As I mentioned before, this strikes me as odd, since the configuration posted above is the ONLY one that will work. There's the title screen music, I can hear the button sounds, but no image display at all, and sometimes the music lags.

Here it is.

I deactivated speedhacks and the musid started lagging much less and sounding more antural, however I still can't see anything, just a black screen.

Null(Software) = does nothing (as written in the guide)

You need dx9(hardware) or dx9(software) to see something.

As i've learnt today you ripped the iso in a wrong way. Please re-rip using imgburn.

Update directX again.

What are your graphics driver doing?
