How to acquire 60fps (or faster) for Final Fantasy X

maybe an old one like 0.9.8 or r1888.
but don't expect support if you have a problem with one of those.

Do you think maybe a different version of the iso would serve to help as well? Maybe PAL iso?

you have the game twice ? maybe this one won't freeze on your PS2, then.

Twice? Well I only have one copy, but I wrote the iso to the disc and it still froze.... I mean, do you think downloading a different version (PAL or something) of the iso will run faster in battle? It only runs at 35-45fps during battle...

downloading an iso is piracy. You're allowed to use your own disc (and then turn it into an iso if you want) and nothing else.
