How to get a better FPS on Final Fantasy X?
#1
Hello all. Newbie here.

I'm trying to run FFX on the best quality I can. I'm not worried about the graphics too much just as long as I can play with good speed. I'm only running at 30 - 40 fps.

My PC specs:

Graphics - ATI Radeon HD 4200
processor - AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.00 GHz
RAM - 4gb

Pcsx2 1.0.0

If you need anymore information please let me know. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

Your GPU will hold you, just buy better GPU ( that based my experience) and your cpu too.
I was using that HD4200 ,my cpu Amd phenom ii x4 @3.5Ghz games are slow then i buy better GPU all games are faster, even now i can use 2x or 3x native Smile

tray use native resolution

Enable all recommended speed hacks, set the resolution to native if its above. Sadly your graphics card isn't that good so don't expect miracles.
Specs: Intel Pentium P5 @ 60 Mhz, 1 Gigabyte HDD, OS: DOS
