I can't select my GTX550ti as an adapter when trying to start PCSX2

Basically the option of selecting my GPU is compeltely grayed out unless i change the option at the top. Is the emulator simply not going to use my GPU at all? IS there a way to go around this?

Honestly i've been wanting to get a GPU for many years at this point and the 550ti is the first one i was able to buy. The emulator not supporting it at all is a bit frustrating.

am i supposed to go check on nvidia's program?

Um, excuse me if that soudns rude but i'm not sure what to make out of your mrssage
i've installed the driver using the link you gave me so i'm a little bit confused. You mean my driver is outdated then?

The renderer will default to OpenGL in your case, the dgpu will be automatically picked up so nothing to worry about.
You can't select which gpu to use using opengl, only vulkan and direct3d.

Oh, so it is using my GPU normally then?, thank oyu for answearing my question, i was starting to get a bit depressed lol
