I can run Crysis and any other game fine but when I installed PCSX2, it keeps asking me to update my DirectX.

You may have the latest, but try installing an older version (ie November 2008, which is linked in the home page) then updating to the latest one (March 2009, I believe).
Currently Playing:
Front Mission 3 - Emma Missions
Front Mission 4
Parasite Eve 2 - Replay Mode

check your version of directX by typing dxdiag in run command. if it is not november version then GSdx wont work.

If the program tells you to update YOU NEED TO UPDATE. PROGRAM DOESN'T LIE. What gets updated is not DX itself but it's SDK files.

Hey I'm having the exact same problem as Spacerik, but the thing is I can't update my directX because it always fails to install. It refers to two log files, DirectX.log and DXError.log, that I should read but I'm not sure how to interpret them or what to do next.
I'm using vista64 and I already have DirectX 10 installed.
I hope no one minds if I paste the stuff that's in those files.

DXError.log:

Thank you, I just ran the DXSETUP in the file you linked and it installed fine.
If there was a rep system I'd +1 you since this is a problem I've had for a while now!
