I'm getting just a black screen after the logos.

Trying to play GTA 3 (created an ISO from my physical copy) but when I launch the game, all I get is the first few screens that show the logos and opening credits.  After that, it's just a black screen.  Any ideas?

Please post the contents of the emulog.txt file after the problem occurs. The file can be found in "My Documents\PCSX2\logs" for the installer version or in "PCSX2\logs" for the portable/binary version.

Can't even find the My Documents folder. Also searched for PCSX2 and all I found was the FAQ document.

sorry, you're right.
this object has been called "my documents " from windows 95 to windows 8.
When you used windows for a long time, this is obvious. when you're a beginner, it looks weird.


Can you please try to run your game directly from the disc ?
how did you make your iso ?

Unfortunately it isn't possible to run it directly from the disc since my computer (different from the one I used to create the ISO) doesn't have a disc drive. But I followed this video and used a program called ImgBurn:

Are you per forming a fast boot or full boot ?

I tried both fast and full. And I didn't get any errors. I'm wondering if it's just a setting or one of the BIOS, plugins, etc. that I need to change or something. Because again it plays the logo (from the game itself, not just the "Playstation 2" logo) just fine, video and audio. But then it goes black with no video or audio at all.

You may have misfumped your bios.how did you dump it ?
