I need to know if the problem from my laptop or my settings

Hi this is my laptop specs:
Processor: Intel Core i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz (8 CPUs), ~2.4GHz Memory: 16GB RAM and nvidia geforce gt 635m graphics card

I'm trying to play rogue galaxy with the best graphics that I can, I'm testing with the up scaling options and i feel that my laptop should run x6 native but for some reason fps drop to under 10 even though my laptop seem to be unstressed is there anything that I can do inside or outside the program? or my laptop is not as good as I think? thanks.

Your GPU can _maybe_ maintain x2 resolution. It's not very fast, and certainly not fast enough for x6.
