It works properly from both savestates on my system. You may have uploaded wrong file from your friend.

May have accidentally uploaded a dupe savestate from my own setup, this one is for sure the broken one.

This is a very interesting problem. Did your friend use any cheats? I can't think of any other reason.

I did activate a 60 FPS code on my end which didn't bring about the bug nor solved it, but he used zero cheats throughout the playthrough. |
