replace your hdd's, mainboard and make sure your mainboard isn't implementing a faulty hardware timer.

1) I have replaced the soundcard, video card, RAM, Power Supply, HDD's, Computer Case, SATA cables, Mouse, Xbox 360 Controller and other USB devices since I originally reported this problem. None of these hardware changes influenced the issue.

2) I have not yet replaced the CPU, Motherboard and/or Display Monitor. I may soon upgrade to a Intel Kaby Lake CPU and appropriate Z270 Motherboard. Unsure about replacing the display just yet (So many new things happening in this space lately like HDR, Freesync and Gsync implementation updates, even faster & absurder refresh rates etc.), maybe I'll get one of those upcoming fancy 240Hz displays.

3) How would I determine if the Motherboard's hardware timer is faulty? I might try swapping my display with my dads (in all honesty, I should've done this back in 2009) to rule out the display as the cause.
